Cycle tours in Guwahati

Inspired by Deepak Joshi and Saswata Sannigrahi started doing cycle tours again.

Basista Ashram :

* Distance – 18 km (one way)
* Place to visit: Beautiful Brahamputra river and wonderful villages of Assam.

Hajo and Saualkuhi:

* Date – 23 April 2016
* Distance – approx 60 km (total)
* Place to visit: Hayagriva Madhab mandir and Saualkuhi

Sai Baba Ashram cycle tour

* Touriyeh: Hanumant Singh and Abhshek Bhambooriya
* City - Bangalore
* Date – June 22 2008
* Distance – 10 -15 km one way
* Place to visit: Sai Baba Ashram
* Route – CV Raman Nagar , old madras road, itpb road till NH207 then take left turn
till railway crossing.
* Since Saini left Bangalore for Singapore, I was not able to go on a cycle tour.
This was a very small trip to visit world famous Sai Baba Brindavan ashram.
We started at 8 am and returned by 11:30 am.

Rajeswaran and me were thinking of a cycle tour, and at that time Shri Shri was in Bangalore Ashram, therefore we thought of visiting Ashram on cycle.
We started very late in morning , around 10:00 AM. Took a map also, like a professional cyclist !!!. We went through Domlur signal, inner ring road, Madiwala, Banashankari, and then took Kanakpura road till the Ashram. We reached the ashram at 1:00 PM in afternoon.
Here we get the darshan of Guruji, just with in one hour of reaching Ashram.
Took the lunch in BHANDARA, washed the plates with our own hand. Everybody here seems to be having desire of SEVA. Ashram is very beautiful and there is book shop also.
We took rest in Ashram for 2-3 hour before returning.
On that day INDRA Daveta was in his full swing, but this is added glamour to cycle tour.
We started our return journey around 4:00 PM and return room around 8:00 pm.
This was our first tour and very memorable also.
